In partnership with men's mental health charity 'ManUp?' Angus has started the hashtag #AngusIsAlright to get people talking; here is what he has to say about it...
Q: what made you want to collaborate with 'ManUp'?
A: Since recently doing my a-levels and starting my first year at uni, I've seen first hand how isolating and lonely it can really be. This is such an exciting time of our lives and I wouldn't want anyone to feel as alone as I did.
Q: how is it you want to help people?
A: I'm trying to get people talking- this is something I didn't do, but as a boy the stigma really is there around opening up. Especially when you're feeling most vulnerable, so helping young men 'take down the front' and stop telling everyone they're 'alright' when they're really not is what I'm aiming for :)
Q: was this the main inspo behind the new single?
A: It wasn't the original idea but kinda came along with it! initially I was going for an upbeat almost 'anthemic' song but as I was putting all the lyrics together all my ideas fell into place.
Q: where can we spread the # ?
A: On all social media platforms!! but it seems to be growing the most on twitter :)
